Bromantane
Elite ResearchBromantane is a synthetic pharmaceutical compound developed in the Soviet Union in the late 1980s. It is classified as an atypical central nervous system (CNS) stimulant and anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) drug belonging to the adamantane family, chemically related to medications like amantadine and memantine
Bromantane increases dopamine synthesis and dopamine transporter expression. It enhances serotonin activity to a lesser extent. It also improves mitochondrial function and energy metabolism in neurons and muscle tissue
Bromantane was designed to improve physical and mental performance without causing overstimulation or dependency. Reported effects include - Increased motivation, focus, and mental clarity. Reduced fatigue and faster recovery from stress or exertion. Mild mood enhancement and reduced anxiety. Improved physical endurance (studied in athletes and soldiers)
Unlike traditional stimulants (e.g., amphetamines or caffeine), bromantane acts as an “actoprotector”; it enhances physical and mental performance under stress without increasing oxygen consumption, heat production, or causing exhaustion. It upregulates dopamine synthesis by boosting enzymes like tyrosine hydroxylase and aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase, leading to improved motivation, focus, and endurance
Research application
Copied from the handbook as research notes. and not instructions.
Sublingual
- Fatigue/Cognitive Enhancement: 25 - 50mg for 2-4 weeks, then cycle off 1-2 weeks
- Athletic Performance/Enhancement: 50 - 100mg (short term periods 1 - 4 weeks)
Avoid combining with strong stimulants (amphetamine, caffeine in excess, modafinil) may cause overstimulation. Not recommended for people with hypertension, severe anxiety disorders, or sleep issues
Unless other wise noted intermuscular (IM) peptides are commonly administered via subcutaneous (SQ) injection with 30-31 gauge syringes
