Clenbuterol

Clenbuterol or “clen” is a long-acting β2-adrenergic agonist. It was developed as a bronchodilator to treat asthma and other respiratory conditions by relaxing airway smooth muscle

It was developed as an asthma medication and comes in tablet or syrup form

Clenbuterol is known in bodybuilding and used during cutting cycles. Some athletic circles use it for it’s thermogenic (heat-producing) and lipolytic (fat-mobilizing) effects. It has mild anabolic/anti-catabolic properties that can help preserve muscle while in a calorie deficit

These effects come from stimulating β2 receptors, which increase metabolic rate, promote fat breakdown and can slightly increase muscle protein synthesis or reduce breakdown

Effects are generally milder and shorter-lived than those of actual anabolic steroids

Research application

Copied from the handbook as research notes. and not instructions.

  • Men: Typically start at 20 - 40 mcg per day and slowly increase by 20 mcg every few days
  • Common working range: 60–120 mcg per day
  • Women: Typically stay lower, 20 - 60 mcg per day is the most common. Higher doses tend to produce stronger side effects

Common research cycles: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off

Continuous use for 4 - 6 weeks followed by a full break of at least equal length

Some research it only during the final weeks of a cut with research often split (morning + afternoon) or taken once daily in the morning to reduce sleep disruption

Unless other wise noted intermuscular (IM) peptides are commonly administered via subcutaneous (SQ) injection with 30-31 gauge syringes
