Epitalon
Elite ResearchEpitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide with the amino acid sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly
It is designed to mimic the effects of epithalamin, a natural peptide produced by the pineal gland
Epitalon is primarily researched for its potential anti-aging and longevity-promoting properties, as it is believed to stimulate telomerase activity, which may help maintain or lengthen telomeres—the protective caps at the ends of chromosomes that shorten with age
Epitalon is thought to activate telomerase, an enzyme that repairs and extends telomeres, potentially slowing cellular aging
It may enhance pineal gland function, influencing melatonin production and circadian rhythms
Some studies suggest it has antioxidant properties, reducing oxidative stress
Potential Benefits
Anti-Aging: May promote cellular longevity and delay age-related diseases
Improved Sleep: By supporting melatonin production, it may enhance sleep quality
Immune Support: Some studies indicate it may strengthen immune function.
Cancer Research: Preliminary studies suggest potential anti-tumor effects, though this is not well-established
Research application
Copied from the handbook as research notes. and not instructions.
- 10mg vial of Epitalon
- Reconstitution volume: 2mL of BAC water
- Epitalon dosages range from 1–10 mg per day for short cycles (10–20 days), followed by a break. Cycles are repeated every 4-6 months
- Low Dose: 1–2 mg/day
- Moderate Dose: 3–5 mg/day
- High Dose: 5–10 mg/day
- 3mg = 60 units (0.06mL)
Unless other wise noted intermuscular (IM) peptides are commonly administered via subcutaneous (SQ) injection with 30-31 gauge syringes
