HCG

HCG, or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, is a hormone naturally produced by the placenta during pregnancy. It plays a key role in maintaining pregnancy by stimulating the production of progesterone, which prevents miscarriage and supports fetal development. In medical and non-medical contexts, HCG is used as a medication or supplement, often in injectable form, for various purposes

Fertility Treatment: HCG may stimulate the testes to produce testosterone and sperm, addressing low sperm count or hypogonadism (low testosterone due to underactive testes). It mimics luteinizing hormone (LH), which signals the testes to produce testosterone and support sperm production

Hypogonadism Management: For men with primary or secondary hypogonadism, HCG may help restore testosterone levels, improving symptoms like low libido, fatigue, and muscle loss. It’s being researched for when testosterone replacement therapy alone isn’t suitable or to preserve fertility, as exogenous testosterone can suppress sperm production

Performance Enhancement: Some research suggests HCG use during or after anabolic steroid cycles may prevent testicular atrophy (shrinkage) and maintain natural testosterone production, which steroids suppress
