IGF-1 LR3

Elite Research

IGF-1 LR3 (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 Long R3) is a synthetic analog of IGF-1, a hormone naturally produced in the body that promotes cell growth, repair, and muscle development. It’s modified with an extended amino acid chain (Long R3) to increase its half-life and potency compared to natural IGF-1, making it more effective for prolonged activity

It stimulates muscle growth (hypertrophy), supports tissue repair, and enhances protein synthesis by binding to IGF-1 receptors

It has a Half-Life of approximately 20-30 hours, much longer than natural IGF-1 (~12-15 minutes), allowing sustained effects

Often used in bodybuilding and performance enhancement (not FDA-approved for these purposes) to increase muscle mass and recovery. Also studied for potential medical applications like muscle wasting disorders

Research application

Copied from the handbook as research notes. and not instructions.

  • 1mg vial of IGF-1 LR3
  • Reconstitution volume: 2mL of BAC water
  • 50mcg = 10 units
  • Beginners: 20-50mcg per day
  • Intermediate/Advanced: 50-100mcg per day
  • Maximum: Rarely exceed 100mcg/day due to risk of side effects like hypoglycemia or receptor desensitization

Usually taken once daily immediately after training to maximize muscle growth and recovery. Some split doses AM/PM

Unless other wise noted intermuscular (IM) peptides are commonly administered via subcutaneous (SQ) injection with 30-31 gauge syringes
