Selank

Elite Research

Selank is a synthetic peptide developed in Russia, derived from the naturally occurring tetrapeptide tuftsin. It’s primarily used for its anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) and nootropic (cognitive-enhancing) effects, acting on the central nervous system to regulate stress, improve mood, and enhance cognitive function

Unlike traditional anxiolytics like benzodiazepines, Selank is reported to have minimal side effects and no significant risk of dependence or withdrawal

Increases brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the hippocampus, supporting neuroplasticity and cognitive function.

Influences serotonin and dopamine levels, contributing to its anxiolytic and mood-enhancing effects without sedation

Has immunomodulatory effects, potentially balancing inflammatory responses, which may indirectly support mental health

Used for anxiety reduction, improved focus, memory, and stress resilience. It’s also explored for PTSD, depression, and neuroprotection

May reduce alcohol withdrawal symptoms, enhance immune function, and protect against stress-induced brain damage

Research application

Copied from the handbook as research notes. and not instructions.

  • 5mg vial of Selank
  • Reconstitution volume: 2mL of BAC water
  • 100mcg = 4 units
  • 250mcg = 10 units
  • 300mcg = 12 units

Start with 250 mcg per dose, injected subcutaneously once daily, preferably in the morning to align with circadian rhythms and avoid potential overstimulation before bed

Administer daily for 10–14 days, followed by a 2–4 week break to prevent tolerance

Unless other wise noted intermuscular (IM) peptides are commonly administered via subcutaneous (SQ) injection with 30-31 gauge syringes
