Semax
Elite ResearchSemax is a synthetic peptide derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). It’s primarily used for its nootropic and neuroprotective effects, with applications in treating cognitive disorders, stress, and neurological conditions. Semax acts on the central nervous system to enhance memory, focus, and stress resilience
Increases brain-derived neurotrophic factor and nerve growth facto in the hippocampus, enhancing neuroplasticity, learning, and memory
Modulates dopamine, serotonin, and enkephalin systems, improving mood, motivation, and stress response
Enhances cerebral blood flow and protects neurons from oxidative stress and inflammation
Acts as a mild stimulant without causing jitteriness, unlike traditional stimulants
In Russia Semax is approved for stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, cognitive impairment, and attention deficit disorders. Also used for stress reduction, memory enhancement, and neuroprotection
Popular among nootropic enthusiasts for improving focus, memory, and mental clarity. Explored off-label for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and neuroprotection post-injury
It may reduce alcohol withdrawal symptoms, improve optic nerve function, and protect against neurodegenerative diseases
